Nothing starts your vacation better than fainting and waking up, face to face with a scary photo. I might have screamed and might have not (you pick). I jumped up from where I was laying. Like literally jumped. I looked around and found that we were still at the airport. “Good morning, Jamie how are you doing”, said Ms. Jones looking at me like she did not care. We were picking up baggage, Iyer told me. I started looking for a brown bag which belonged to me. I found my bag with ease, I guess I could thank my grandma for making me eat nuts. We made our way to the front of the airport, where we had a mini-van waiting for us. Ms. Jones called the driver to come and pick us up. The driver arrived in 10 minutes and greeted us. He told us that the other driver was sick, so he was covering for him. I did not mind honestly until his eyes flickered. I thought the dizziness was still there in my head. We put our bags in the back. The interesting thing is that the back was so small, yet it seemed like it had infinity space. The same thing happened with us when we were sitting down, the van looked very small and still my whole class made it in.
Ms. Jones told the driver the address of our hotel and the driver put the address in his GPS. The GPS said that it will take us 3 hours to get to the hotel, which was fine by me. I could catch some sleep and finally find inner peace. I suddenly recalled what the face had said, “just like your father”. The face knew my father and I had to find out who was this face. But that could wait because if my dad needs saving, he will need me to be my 100%. So, I took my neck pillow and slept.“Where are we?”, said a voice. I was startled and woke up. In front of us stood a massive mall with pictures advertising different brands. The driver was gone and we were in a valley. The valley looked beautiful in the sunshine. The river that ran next to it shined in the rays of the sun. I was pretty happy with this type of weather, but some force was pulling me towards the mall. I got out of the van and started making my way to join my teacher, who was now standing in front of the mall. I was almost there, but my foot hit a small rock and I fell. I got up and turned around to see for any bruises. But what I saw was even shocking. The top of the van said queen rentals. My grandmas voice ran through my ears ……..“beware of the queen”.
